Workers’ Justice: A community-Based Course On Rights and Action


Apply for the Workers’ Justice Cohort, Starting September 24, 2026:

Organized by the Jane Finch Education Action Group, the Jane/Finch Centre, and the Global Labour Research Centre at York University.

Are you a worker or resident in the Jane-Finch, Rexdale, or Northwest Toronto area? Join us for a free, introductory 8-week in-person course exploring workers' rights, workplace justice and collective action. Especially useful for: racialized workers, non-unionized workers, newcomers, youth and first-time workers, and workers in precarious employment.

Please Note: participants are expected to attend at least 6 of the 8 sessions to receive a Certificate of Completion from the Global Labour Research Centre at York University.

September 24 - November 12, 2026 | Every Thursday, from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
