Jane Finch Placement Student Orientation
The Jane/Finch Centre and the York University Community Engagement Centre are offering a FREE orientation for post-secondary placement students completing their placements in the Jane–Finch and broader Humber River–Black Creek community.
The training will provide a historical overview of the community, explore contemporary systemic issues and the stigma facing Jane Finch, and discuss the historical relationships between institutions and the community as well as grassroots organizing. It will also outline placement expectations and opportunities for growth.
Lunch will be provided!
