National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day to reflect upon the intergenerational harm caused by residential schools and the on-going impact of settler colonialism in this country. We remember the children who were taken, whose lives were lost or forever altered. Today, and every day, the Jane/Finch Centre stands in solidarity with Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island, and their right to reparations, reconciliation and a commitment to accountability of wrong-doings through the 94 calls to action.
