Aging at Home - Unity in Diversity

Seniors Program

This project is an adult day program for seniors being delivered through weekly group sessions. The goal is to enable aging seniors from ethno-cultural groups to live independently and healthy.  Seniors attending the program have some level of mobility, however the programs are offered close to their homes to ensure accessibility.  At each adult day program staff  are able to speak the common languages spoken by the participants. San Romanoway Revitalization, Elspeth Heyworth Centre for Women and Northwood Neighbourhood Services are our partner agencies in delivering these 10 program at 7 locations.
